Richmond River Bridge - Expression of Interest (EOI)

Project Description : Richmond river bridge is an 11 span, 778m long bridge. According to the concept design, box girders for span 1 to 6 would be incrementally launched from the south bank, while box girders for span 7 to 11 are balanced cantilevers. The width of the new bridge would be 23m and would be constructed using twin box girders with stitched superstructure.

Scope: Indus (formerly known as Deleg8) was engaged by Obayashi to develop the construction methodology and concept design for the submission of an expression of interest for the Richmond River Bridge on the Pacific Highway. Indus developed two separate detailed construction programs in MS project and detailed staging for the construction of the bridge and civil works using balanced cantilever and super T girders. As part of the submission Indus developed the risk register and the mitigation strategies.
